  1. thats great,

    next thing w`ll hear,

    they wont be bald anymore

  2. It is good news for the Bald Eagle.  It means that they have grown in numbers from an all time low in the '60's.  Back then, there was only about 1000 in the wild.  Today we have over 10,000.  We have seen a few around here in the past few years.  It is an awesome sight.  Good for the bald eagle, which will never be hunted in this country.  It will always be a protected species it just insn't endanger of extinction at this time.

  3. Thats awesome.. It's about time.. The bald eagle will rise once again!

  4. They ARE protected, regardless.  The 1940 Bald Eagle Protection Act makes it illegal to hunt or harm bald eagels (in the US).

  5. Does that mean it's now OK to eat fried eagle?

  6. Bad News! They are going to hunt them again and they will be right back on the list. They need to be permanetly protected.

  7. I seen one in Maryland. Can't remember where exactly. Talbot Co.

  8. good. I'm tired of poaching illegally.

  9. Yea, one carried off the neighbors cat last week.
