Great places in Adelaide for a weekend holiday?

hi, i am thinking about going for a weekend trip to somewhere out in the country somewhere in south australia, it has to be at least 3 hours outside of adelaide, but still in south australia.

please if you live in adelaide and have been to some great places, please please please tell me!

Depends on what you want !!!

For peace and serenity try Normanville 2 hours south on the coast.

To the Hills try Harndorf lots of things to see and great eateries

Strathablyn another picturesque town

Barossa Valley for wines and yummy food.

Gladstone and do a night in the old Jail spooky but fun

Oh and Robe for the best crayfish

Robe is a beautiful little seaside town in the south east. Might be a bit chilly in winter though. http://www.robe.sa.gov.au/

Victor Harbor is a great little town to go to. Its got a lovely beach, granite island and the town square is great to go to.

It'll be pretty cold in winter though.
