Great restaurant in New Jersey?

I'd like to get my husband's dad a gift certificate to a really nice restaurant in New Jersey. He lives in Colonia if that helps. He's very open to all kinds of restaurants..from American, to Sushi...you name it. He's a retired guy from the stock exchange, so he's well versed in nice restaurants. Any suggestions?

Moghul Restaraun (Indian) - Edison

Akbar (best Indian in the area, they have a wedding there every time I have gone) - Edison

There are a ton of nice upscale places in New Brunswick - Frog and the Peach, Old Man Rafferty's and more - try visiting the magic 98.3 website, they feature a different place in the Middlesex County area every week or so and you get a $100 gift certificate for $50
