Question:

Great restaurants to eat at and any good plays that are currently on in Toronto, Ontario?

For my honeymoon, me and my husband are going to Toronto. We have been there many times but we're going there with the GOAL to do everything we always want to do, but never have time/money to do.

So we are going in June for a week and staying in a nice hotel.

First, I'm looking for some suggestions on good restaurants. I'm looking to eat at places that will really allow us to experience DIFFERENT types of foods. Nothing TOO expensive (I'm not planning on spending $150 for the two of us or anything). We were thinking somewhere in China Town at some point?

Second, I really want to see a play while I'm there. We already have Medieval Times booked (which we cant wait - I've already been but by hubby hasnt) but I keep checking out plays and everything I want to see is done by June! Any suggestions of something good to go see?

Thanks so much in advance!

  1. I also highly recommend Dirty Dancing, such a good show which ive seen a couple of times. Very s**y! If you and your hubby are into funny crazy humor Evil Dead the musical is playing until june 14 at the diesel playhouse, it is absolutely hilarious and I promise you wont regret it, sooo much fun. I recommend sitting in the splatter zone where you will get sprayed with blood, how romantic. Your gonna have fun at medieval times, make sure your hubby has a few drinks and get pumped up on cheering for your knight!!

As for a restaurant the person above mentioned Baton Rouge, Druxy's, Mr. Greenjeans (Eaton Centre) or The Pickle Barrel. All I have to say is gross. They must be a tourist because these places are all tourist traps. If you want to have an amazing steak dinner in a nice restaurant that you wont soon forget go to harbour sixty near the harbourfront.  http://www.harboursixty.com/ . I also recommend The Rosebud for modern comfort food or the Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar which is one of the most amazing places in town. One more recommendation I have is Yamato restaurant in Yorkville. It is a teppan restaurant where the japensese chefs cook right in front of you and have a few trips up their sleeves. They have amazing steak and seafood! So happy you chose the TO for your honeymoon, hope you have lots of fun. If you need any more help just repost.
