  1. This is from someone who lives in a country that thinks it's cool for men to wear tartan skirts????

    Idiot!!

  2. Your attitude is the reason the Southern Hemisphere teams love smashing the British teams mate. Its a pity people like you ruin it for all your decent countrymen and neighbours. Ignorant attitudes like yours belong on the soccer field.

Maybe if Scotland had a "stupid dance" they wouldn't come last in the 6 nations year in, year out.

  3. ah well...... its called the haka....... and not worth explaining to someone who has pre concieved ideas about it....... obviously not a real fan of the game....... awwww nevermind.

  4. "embarrasing to watch" ha!

    well then close your eyes!!!!

  5. Yeah, what everyone above said, you b*****d.

  6. The Haka is a Maori War dance, its also a show of recognition before battle. Did you know the Maori Warrior actually invented trench Warfare, as used later in the Western Front etc...Best way to deal with it was shown by the Australian Rugby League team, even though it was slightly disrespectfull, as the entire Aussie team walked straight up to them and stared them down inches from their faces!

We can do it (Aussies), but heaven help any others that try!

  7. Well,  why would they stop the dance now after  a hundred years of tradition ?, simple answer is , go and watch  some other poof game, if you don`t understand.

  8. It's tradition, it's all about laying down a challenge to their opponents.

People say it's supposed to intimidate opposition but that isn't true at all, it's about the All Blacks showing their opponents that they recognise them as a challenge and are prepared to step up to that challenge.

Your comments are disrespectful and ignorant. I notice your username is 'Rock of Edinburgh' Scottish by any chance? Thought as much, one of the most intolerant cultural groups in the world.

Edit - The Scots are intolerant, just look at the scorn they pour on us English despite having no qualms about leeching our tax money.

Edit - I say all this, my Grandfather was actually Scottish and he admited it.

And to whoever mentioned Kilts, that's tradition also and was born out of necessity. In the highlands they needed massive stretches of heavy fabric to cover their whole body and to be able to sleep in on hunting trips.

  9. why do they? its an inside  joke, and you're not privy to it.

  10. Shame on you.

  11. If you're a Scot they do the haka to remind you that your team has NEVER EVER beaten the All Blacks and probably never will.     No difference from this than some grown man throwing a lampost wearing a dress; now that is poncy.

  12. who are the sassies?? and i hate the allblacks but i do respect them, and that dance is tradition, its supposed to intimidate the oppostion, and i think it does, what i think would be great though is if the englilsh started morris dancing during the hakka, or the irish do some irish dancing that would be hilarious, and it would stop the new zealanders intimidating them.

  13. Your question just displays how ignorant you are.

That 'silly dance' as you called it is the Haka. An old Maori war dance. New Zealand have always performed it before rugby matches and they wouldn't take kindly to you disrespecting their traditions.

  14. Scotland and Ireland have never, ever, ever won a test against the mighty AllBlacks.Stick to what you know, porridge, hagus, wearring no undies underneath you pretty embroided skirts and getting your @ss kicked by the Poms angus!Go the ALLBLACKS!!!!!!

  15. Since when have the Scots been most intolerable nation in the world???

Maybe some other people should try cultural respect...locate Scotland on a map and explain why this person won't know much about New Zealand.

Tartan KILTS are actually a tradition!
