Great ways to make friends, OUTSIDE of school?

so i'm going to start working on making friends in school (it'll be my second day of high school tomorrow) but what can i do to make friends outside of school? i'm starting dance classes soon which will help, but what other things? besides joining clubs and stuff, thanks!

Well, good idea joining dance! That is a great way to make friends.

Maybe like a youth group or camp you could go to.
