  1. Sugar Ray Leonard..

  2. I would say my Fiance as hes undefeated but i cant name him. lol.

However, next to that, Mayweather i would say

  3. It HAS to be Cassius Clay aka Mohammed Ali.  I used to watch him in the 60s and 70s and he was unbeatable.  Later on he had all sorts of illnesses, and I have looked after other people with the same problems, and it is very distressing.  But yes, Cassius Clay.

  4. Ray Robinson but when he was at welterweight rather than middleweight.

  5. floyd mayweather

  6. Floyd Mayweather and Muhammad Ali

  7. sugar ray robinson, but wot about big rico?

  8. kirkland laing - those that know know

  9. I would have to say Ali because he can loose a fight but come back a win the trilogy and fought all the best or Mike Tyson he has the shortest boxing Dvd set in boxing history because of the early knockouts.

  10. ali had the lot,the rest before and after ,just slow sluggers.

  11. mayweather and roy jones jr.i laugh when i hear the mentioning of old folks like louis, robinson, marciano. those guys would not lay a hand on roy jones. ali is not pound for poundwhats up with this people cant they read the question?

  12. ray robinson

  13. Muhammad Ali is the Greatest Fighter in the world.

  14. 1 Muhammad Ali

    2 Sugar Ray Robinson

    3 Manny Pacquiao

    4 Rocky Marciano

    5 Mike Tyson

  15. its gotta be SUGAR RAY ROBINSON.

  16. Mike Tyson!!!

If mad Mike had have kept his head.... No one would have ever beaten him.

he was an unbelievibly tough man with a ferocious punch... but not many people realised he actually was a counter puncher.. hard to hit and could hit hard.. Tyson in his hey day would have beaten anyone

  17. Muhammad Ali or julio cesar chavez and his son

  18. Well, it is between Floyd Mayweather and Muhammad Ali. The most controversial, one of the greatest fighter against the best of the best.

  19. I would say Marvin Hagler during the time he stopped Hearns. He could have beaten almost any middleweight of any era during that time period. I still say he beat Sugar Ray and him losing that fight was bad for boxing.

  20. Ray Robinson.

  21. Nigel Benn had the hardest pound-for-pound punch ever.  I would rather watch the Dark destroyer fight than anyone else.

He offered to fight every Yank, in their own backyard, for no money.

They all refused cos they were scared.

    What were they scared of?

    Getting punched by Nigel Benn.

If it wasn't for the unfortunate McClellan episode, Benn would've been even more successful than he was anyway.

    Nigel Benn is a legend.

  22. If you asked God to build you a boxer, he would build you Sugar Ray Robinson.

  23. Sugar Ray Robinson.

  24. Richard Dunne - The sheer power with which he used to hit the canvas was legendary.

  25. Best Pound For Pound "El Gran Campeon Mexicano" Julio Cesar Chavez. Julio Cesar Chavez was the most dominant, successful boxer in his weight class of all time. Ali, Frazier, Robinson got nothing on this Mexican phenom, as far as record, belts, title matches, and overall success and dominance in their weightclass 11 years as world Champion and undefeated. Mr.KO they called him during a time in Mexico. Fought the Best Fighters in his time and wasn't afraid to take a hit. Best Chin I've seen ever by a Boxer. There would never be another Julio Cesar Chavez.

  26. rambo

  27. SUGAR RAY ROBINSON, THEN HENRY ARMSTRONG

  28. One of my favourite boxers is Tommy Hearns, great foot work, great defence and undoubtedly that infamous right hook/straight was a credit to him and his career.

  29. Pound for Pound is Joe Gans

  30. It is without a doubt, Sugar Ray Robinson.  He had everything that a quality fighter should have, and then some.  He also fought during one of the toughest eras in middleweight history and he beat all of the top middleweights of his era because he was never afraid to fight the top contenders.  Whats even more astonishing is that a lot of his career-defining wins came when he was past his prime; he was at his peak when he was welterweight champ and when he first moved up to middleweight.  Muhammad Ali said that he considers himself the greatest heavyweight of all time, but he stated that his idol, Sugar Ray Robinson was the best pound for pound fighter of all time.  Sugar Ray Leonard also said that there is no comparison between him and Robinson because Robinson was the greatest.

  31. Maybe not ever, but Roy Jones jr. has to be at least considered on a pound for pound discussion
