Who is the greatest pure shooter of all time in the NBA and why???

I think its Larry Bird, becuase I watch videos of games back then, and this guy was CRAZY!! Once he gets on it there is now stopping him.

Larry Bird.

Bird had to completely re-learn how to shoot when he got to the NBA.

He was already the greatest shooter in the history of college basketball, but he broke a couple of fingers on his shooting hand in a softball game during the summer before his rookie season in the NBA.

The fingers were never set properly, and he played his entire NBA career with mangled index and middle fingers on his shooting hand.

And even with that, he was STILL lights out anytime you needed a big shot, from two OR from three.
