What is the greatest country in the world and why?

Mexico.  anything goes.  100 us dollars is 1000 mexican.  With outsourcing you can find a us job over there too.

Its the Indians who are doing all sorts of developments accross the world. Great Education system. youth focused on development rather than destructive activities.  Economy growing despite of limited resources.

What is a country? (Philosophical sense) Isn't it a place where you share certain ideals in a similar location under one banner? If it is then I haven't found the greatest country because I STRONGLY DISLIKE Americas, Indias, Chinas, et.... growing capitalist beliefs and if I could afford to remove myself to another location I would and I'd take my whole family with me.

Iceland did sound nice!!! Sweden used to be that way but last I heard the guy who believes in the advancement of the economy won their last election.

It is the Greatest, just ask the Millions of refugees and Immigrants which will risk their lives to get here.

USA is open to Muslims running away from their brutal and Violent regimes and getting refuge here.

iceland...it is a very peaceful and wealthy country...the economy is extremely stable and the people are very nice...they als have the lowest crime rate per capita of any other country in the world...

it is not the usa. if we r supposed to be so free here. why do we have more laws than anywhere else why are we one of the highest taxed people and why do we have more people in prisons than any other country.

In Iceland, they have enough money that everyone only has to work half a year.  Seriously.  6 months on, 6 months vacation.  Can you imagine how well they must be doing for that?  Not to mention the literacy rate... 100%.  Their school enrollment rates are 99%.

most money, low poverty, genuine democratic government...

China, strong economy, good numbers...  great technological future...  bright and clean politics coming, and did i mention there futures are the only ones rising?

also there education system is vastly superior to the majority, along with health care.. they also instill a pride of family and obligation to country which few (it seems) object too
