Question:

Greece to Spain... is there any direct ferry or cruise?

I am going to Europe this summer, and I would love to visit both Greece and Spain. Since it is mid-summer, I thought it is a great idea to enjoy the cruising/ferry trip. I can only afford 6 days before arriving in Spain since I already have plan in Barcelona.

Is there any ferry/cruise or should I give up? Your help will be greatly appreciated... thanks!

  1. I have had a look and you should be able to do it within the 6 days with some time for sightseeing. You can get a ferry from Greece to Italy and then cross Italy to get a ferry from Italy to Spain. The ferry from Greece to Italy takes 20 hours, cross Italy, (probably by rail), ferry from Italy to Spain 18-19 hours.

You would need to plan carefully as the ferries do not all run daily.

Sounds like a good logistical exercise and should be an interesting trip. Good luck.
