Greek Poem "To Ammo" (The Sand)?

I read a Greek poem called To Ammo a while ago, or atleast I thought I did, but I cannot find it anywhere. It was only a few stanzas long. I had thought Cavafy wrote it, because I remember to be very much his style, but I am drawing blanks.

The poem focused on the mistakes and misgivings of the author while using a sirocco swept beach as the backdrop.

Anyone might have any idea of what I am talking about? Thanks!

well, there is a poem by Cavafy similar to what you say...it's called "morning sea" but yet I'm not sure at all..

I need more information on that...
