    It could also be Yia sou , Ante yia sou or Yia sas and Ante gia sas for friendly singular and formal plural respectively

    Efharisto is addressed to mostly general singular. Formal thank you is better expressed as Sas Efharisto, and if you are replying to someone in particular you say Se Efharisto.

    More courteous is Efharisto poli, Se Efharisto poli, or Sas  Efharisto poli.

    All the i's are pronounced like in 'kiss", and the the e's like in the word  "neck"
