Greek streets!?

Is there a small town in Piraeus called Agia Sofia?, If so, how can I get there from Melissia? Euharistw!

  1. Agia Sofia is a district (neighborhood) in Piraeus and is called like that after  the church of Agia Sofia that is there. The easiest way to get there is to take the train to Piraeus and from there the bus No 909 that is passing outside the station.

    Since there are two stops, one before and one after the church you have to know before-hand in order to ask the driver to stop at the right one.


  2. Airpole's correct - you are lucky I used to live in Vrillisia (nr Melissia ) before Attiki Odos and more than one train line (Kifissia/ Pireas)was even a twinkle in the designers eye! It was a nightmare to get anywhere - I even had to take 2 buses to Kifissia!!! That took me 1 hr 15min and you know how close Kifissia is!
