Green Bell Pepper Plant Problem?

I am growing 2 green bell pepper plants. They are right now about 1/2 the size that they should be. The problem is that a couple of them are turning red. I know that they are green peppers because I still have the label for the plant. Is this normal?

  1. green peppers will turn colors when they get mature. a green pepper is an immature fruit on the plant. you should have already picked it.

  2. Sure it's normal. Just ripe. If you want to increase the size of your peppers, try Miracle Gro. Peppers like nitrogen.

  3. That is normal for them to ripen even tho you got the green, you can either eat them green or eat them red. Gives you a good choice! I sometimes let them ripen if i want red. I usually use more of the green so I pick them green. If u want to freeze them all you have to do is wash them put them in freezer bags and freeze, thats it! Hope this helps, have a great day.

  4. Red means they are ripe and taste sweeter. Green peppers always turn red given enough time.
