Only transiting in Paris - changing trains.

  1. Hard to answer, since you do not tell your nationality and country you hold the Green Card. Since the visa requirements are identical for all Schengen states, you may use the attached list to find out whether you need a visa or not, if you hold a U.S. green card. If it says yes, you will need a visiting visa, not a transit visa. Transit visa are only required for certain nationalities on airport transit. The travel through a country by train is not considered to be a transit.

(202) 944-6000, email: info@ambafrance-us.org, or the French Consulates General in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York, or San Francisco.

    If you hold a U.K. green card and the visa requirement exists, you have to apply for at the french embassy in London or its consulates.
