whats the different between regular green card and asylum green card....

  1. There is no asylum green card. Asylum is temporary. After being present in the US for 1 year a person who has been granted asylum may apply for a regular green card.

There's is no difference in the actual green card.  The difference is how or what qualifies you to obtain a greencard.  When filling out the I-485 to adjust your status to permanent residence (i.e. get a green card) there are qualifications you need to check that would allow the reviewer to grant you the green card.  If you have been granted asylum as a refugee, for example, then that would be your qualification.  Other qualifications could be family ties like marriage to a U.S. citizen or having children over 21 years old that are U.S. citizens.
