i have never been a huge green day fan, but i totally agree with you that FOB's old stuff kicks the new stuffs @$$.

FOB is my vote i guess.

FALL OUT BOY!  But it depends on the type of music you like more... They're not comparable in the terms of fairness

Green Day was a real band.  Fall Out Boy is manufactured BS.

Green Day, but Fall out boys older (before famous) stuff was great.

I love them both too. It really depends, they are both similar styles of music but both have different, unique qualities.

Green Day is better in the sense that they have gone through so much. They have been in the music business for over 10 years i think and have just with their last album (American Idiot) came to become so big. The fact that all those years before when they were hardly recognizable, they didn't give up on their dream to become major is incredible. So i think that green day are better for that reason.

Green day have also made a new album under a different name, "Foxboro Hot Tubs" this album is great and it incorporates more of the seventies style of music. This shows they're also very versatile.

I dont think they should be compared

even if the teen people select fall out boy as the new Green Day.

They are different bands.

I am not hating on Fall Out Boy.

I like them, but not as much i did four years ago.

And Green Day is my favorite band

So I say  Green Day :D
