whereas the usa is the main contributor to ggh, who does the USA blame? Saudi Arabia ( a country in where oil is their main export, and water is more expecnsive!)? China ( whom are also main pollutors, per capita) ?

Will the USA continue to pile the blame on other countries because of sheer fear of being the real issue at hand?

Soooo not blaming the USA here, just wondering why a country like that fears looking bad instead of doing more about it. obviousely with a new protocol in the making, things will likely be subject to considerbly change.

what do you all think ???

  1. everyone is responsible..

where people are the pollution is ...

fear of change is a human trait...  we all want to be secure...

  2. It's no one's 'fault."  When energy technology was developed, industrialized countries used it to drive tremendous economic growth that has bettered the lives of billions of people all over the world.

Now it's time--past time--to move on to better technology.

The only "fault" lies with people who are not willing to change--or who spend their time whining about finding someone to blame instead of doing something constructive to promote the changes that are needed.

  3. Al Gore, and termites

  4. it is our fault, and we have to stop worrying about politics and face the facts that U.S. is lagging behind the world in conservation, renewable resources, and green living. we are just too arrogant. we critisize others without first looking at ourselvs

  5. I think the majority of GHG is from cows.... not cars and industry..... let's send them all to the moon....

  6. It really is a problem for the USA, China and India because these nations are not using nuclear to provide the majority of their electric power and instead depend on coal, oil or natural gas for this. With adequate low cost nuclear or space based solar power available the use of oil and coal for heating, cooling and transportation would be massively reduced freeing up the carbon based fuels we now burn for use in other products and also minimizing their overall use.

It is the unreasoning fear that the so called environmental movement has of nuclear and orbital power generation that has led to the current over use of carbon based fuels world wide. If Jimmy Carter had not put into place the ban on recycling of nuclear waste into fresh fuel we would have not built all the coal, oil and gas generation plants we have put on line for the last 30 years. This alone would have reduced the carbon emissions considerably. Next consider that with a adequate supply of electricity available instead of the edge of black out level of today manufactures would have concentrated on small electric city cars instead of truck based road hogs and monster cars.

Switching half of our transportation from carbon fueled to electric from nuclear plants would have made another massive drop in carbon emissions. So who is really to blame for our current consumption of so much coal, oil and natural gas for work that could be more cheaply and more environmentally friendly nuclear power. Well brother Al Gore and all of the others so called greens of the last 50 years that politically made nuclear power undesirable. So the very Oil Company funded proponents of the AGW theory are the very ones most responsible for the problem itself. Rather shocking is it not!

  7. Man people think that they are the reason that the earth is getting hotter

    .. . ..

Mars for the first time since it has been seen in a telescope has had its polar cap start to melt

    .. . ..

It is know that the earths orbit is not consistent it is elliptical and oval

    . .. ..

that change happens every 100,000 years and we are in the circular orbit state of its orbit around the sun and the heat up is happening as it has for the last 3.5 billion years

    .. . ..

I kind of wonder what will happen when the elliptical orbit starts and the earth starts to have shorter and shorter summers and colder winters

    .. . ..

Will mankind say that all of our keep earth green ideas are back firing  now
