Green River Canoeing?

Some friends and I are taking a raod trip south next weekend and are planning on canoeing down the green river. Has anyone ever done this, how was it, any suggestions on where put in or anything else you may want to share would be awesome! We are going to rent the canoes so a good place for that too? Thanks fer any help! Peace.

Hi, are you referring to the Green River in Utah?    

If so....

Depending on where you start, most of the trips are 3-5 days long at a minimum, and a Canyonlands permit is required.

This is a trip I've researched pretty heavily, as I'm planning on doing it soon myself!  I have spoken to people who have recommended Tex's riverways to me.  Check out their website (link below) - and call them with any additional questions.
