Green Thirty Two favourite for Lydon House Catering INH Flat Race
Green Thirty Two has got a very good chance of winning the Lydon House Catering INH Flat Race at Ballinrobe in Ireland on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. The winner will be awarded a cash prize of €5,175.
The going will be good to firm in the 2 mile race, which is scheduled to start at 20:35 GMT. Following runners will be seen in action at Ballinrobe today: Holy Smokes, Green Thirty Two, Native Son, Rising Euro, Riddlestown, Perfect Surprise, Jog Along
Jack, Risk All, Moonlight Fencer, Ballymassey Boy, Pairc Na Leasa, Star Of Boru and Tullydonnell Flyer.
Most of the runners are relatively inexperienced at this level, thus it will be hard to predict the winner accurately. However, looking at the performances of Green Thirty Two, it seems that he will manage to outperform his rivals in the race.
The five-year-old gelding has participated in just a couple of races until now, but he failed to win any of them. His performance in the first one was not bad, as he secured the third position. He was not given good odds, but still surprised one and
all with his stamina.
However, the S. J. Mahon’s trained runner failed to deliver a better result in his most recent outing, as he finished ninth in it. He was up against some quality runners, but was still expected to fight for the top five.
Green Thirty Two will be partnered by Miss N. Carberry, who is a very good rider and has got a lot of talent. However, she does not have a lot of experience, thus she might find things to be a bit challenging.
On the other hand, Holy Smokes will also be the one to watch out for in the race, as he seems to be in good shape at the moment. Although he has taken part in just one race, he finished sixth in it. He was up against some very good runners back then,
but might find things to be easy at Ballinrobe today.
The five-year-old gelding will be partnered by Mr C. Motherway, who is new to the sport and might be a touch nervous heading into the race. However, he has the skills to win on a regular basis.
