Hope some of this helps you get an idea or so. :)

  2. try gojane.com for the dresses, let some of them wear green and some wear orange, i think that they will look nice together, there are so many variations of the colors, go for wild and bold or mild and meek

  3. Sounds like a Disneyland theme wedding...are you sure you want to do this? Be colorful but don't be extreme. Someday you might want to look back on this day.

  4. adivce on flowers... try to find a wholesale store chain that offers ordering of flowers. we have a thing in PA called costco's, or sam's club. many times my sisters-in-law ordered their flowers from there and we made our own bouquets- they turned out cute and half the time, other than pictures?- no one really remembers them... just said that they were cute- but could never rmember what they looked like... haha..    i'm getting married in december and sicne my flowers are completely OUT OF SEASON (hydrangea's), i'm doing a silk bouquet so it's easier to preserve and no on will know they're silk when you're doing the ceremony, thye'll just assume they are real...   i'm doing carnations for my bridal party and i got floral spray of a light blue and im actually just dusting them lightly to color them a pretty blue that i couldn't find that they came in anywhere!!  so you could always do an inexpensive flower and floral spray them from your local craft store...

once you figure out your wedding dress... many bridal stores offer a special to register there and get your bridesmaids dresses there too... i got my dress at david's bridal and my girls got $20 off their dresses cause i registered at david's bridal and got my dress from them. they also give you tons of certificates and offers when you get your dress from them too...

favors? try geting little organza bags from your local craft store and filling them with the candy they have sold there at the store. probably in the wedding section. i'm doing this and the candy doesn't taste that bad! if you have some money to play with and not that many people, you can find m&m's in ur color and put them in a little bag- but i suggest mints if it's going to be hot.. you can have them in a basket with "thank you" written nicely infront of the basket for people to know that they're for them ;)

  5. First when are you getting married? Fall , summer ? Burnt orange, yellow   mums  are beautiful, that is more for a Fall wedding. Need to know when, really I can't go any farther with this, until you say when.

  6. You can go to www.shellyleppertdesigns.com. They can custom make your bridesmaid dresses for you at a great price.

  7. if there are any nice gardens around you (like botanical gardens) you could go there.  Green and Orange make me think flowers and gardens so that was my first thought. (and no, they aren't ugly. It can be gorgeous! oculd be ugly if you do it wrong, but any colour combination can fall into that trap. lol)

Check out www.theknot.com It's free, a GREAT help to me so far. you can look through galleries of other people's flowers and cakes and decorations and dresses etc etc. and get some ideas.  I am using orange as one of my colours cause I'm doing a fall wedding and burnt orange is just gorgeous.  ANYWAYS, i found about 15 different bouquets that are gorgeous. and I didn't even get through half of the photos yet.

For our centrepieces we are going to get some nice vases from the dollar store (yes I said dollar store, they have some gorgeous vases there) and we are going to fill them with water and float either a candle and petals in it or just a single flower (that would match my bouquet).  Nice and simple, and cheap (I don't know your budget so I thought I'd mention that. lol)

check out bridalonlinestore.com they have some nice brides maid dresses. ANd if you have time to wait (don't know when the wedding is) wait til prom is over and go check out clearance racks for brides maid's dresses.  Although if you are having a large wedding party it may be hard to find enough dresses. lol

Anyways I'd love to exchange ideas if you have some, or want more just contact me through my profile here.

    Congrats!!!!

  8. I don't know when the date for this wedding is....but if it's around the spring (April/May) look for prom dresses that go on sale for your bridesmaids....you can find some really simple beautiful dresses for cheap.....We did for our wedding in April and the dresses were only 60 bucks a piece!!!

Another suggestion is make your own bouquets and centerpieces....it's not hard and you and your bridal party can keep their flowers forever as a reminder.
