We are re-doing our bedroom but the walls are a bright green that make it hard to match anything with. We don't want to repaint the walls because my husband's mother painted them before she died. Now my hunt for a comforter has become impossible. I did find a nice one by croscill called carrington (link takes you to picture) http://www.milloutlet.com/img/categoryImages/bed_Croscill_Carrington0044.JPG

but I'm not positive because it looks like it wouldnt match our wood furniture (it's lighter with dark spots) I also wanted to hang curtains behind the bed instead of a head board with scones on either side. If i do go with this comforter what color curtain should i use.

  1. Things don't always have to match. You will do fine if you stay in the color family. example, if your room is neutral, stay neutral. greens do well with browns, blacks, whites, even lighter shades of blue. I'd go get some color swatches from a paint store and play around whith what you like together. Also before trying to match up things, decide what kind of look you are going for: modern, classic, comforting, garden, country etc...You can do A LOT with greens. Also grab up some home decor magazines, they give good ideas and color combos. Good luck and have fun!!!!

  2. This is my favorite website to search for bedding. They have everything: And you can search by color, which is a smart tool:

Personally, I think you might look at a gold.
