  1. good luck.  we as regular joes have a snowball's chance in h**l at being a member at Augusta.  They do look for candidates geographically, so if someone from you general area quits or dies, your chances have just gone up by about .0000000001%.


  2. Even if i knew you have to be invited to become a member so there'd be no point telling you would there?

    I think the system is you get invited to join, you accept and pay a massive sum of money to join and an almost as massive amount yearly. For that you get allocated something like four rounds every year. You don't pay any more than your membership fees for this. Non-Members can't play (except in The Masters).

  3. I don't think they charge.  It's with the memberships which is around $50k a year.

  4. It's one of the most exclusive golf clubs in the world. There are around 300 members (no one knows for sure) and the cost is estimated to be between $250,000 and $300,000. Membership is by invitation only; its been rumored that publicly expressing a desire to be a member can kill your chances of being one.
