Ok moms and dads help me out here. I would like a fun green supper for the kids. I'm not scared of food coloring so bring on the recipies please. I prefer something easy but I was thinking of a green theme to go with the day. I have a 7 yr old boy and a 4 yr old girl. We have some problems going on right now at home with their grandpa having cancer and I was in hospital for a week. These kids need some fun and I was thinking of this being a fun treat. Thanks ahead of time.

  1. Dr. Seuss..green eggs and ham. Food color in the eggs, with a nice slice of ham and some green colored milk.

  2. ive made green cream cheese... also if you take food coloring and a new paintbrush and have the kids (or you) paint on a piece of bread... then put it in the toaster.... dont over cook it. make a sandwich. they sell green stuff.

  3. Hmm.. OKay what about green mashed potatoes, with green mac and cheese and chicken nuggets with green ranch dip.

:-)  SOmething else they might like is a big skewer dinner. KIds love eating off sticks. You could make pizza dippers with some cut up and baked pilbury cresent rolls and sausage or pepperoni and cheese squares with marinara sauce to dip it in, and marshmellows and a bunch of sweet dipping sauces for dessert. just a suggestion. Hope their week gets better
