Green grasshopper in my jar...?

Question

Well I found one in my bedroom but it has a leg missing, so I put it in a jar filled with lettuce, spinach, and some stuff from a "spring salad mix" thing my mom bought. Is this the right way to take care of it? or should I just let it out in my yard?

Just Let him go in your yard. They live just fine with one leg!
