Green laser pointer?

Hi, are green lasers pointers legal in Australia, and can a 5mw green laser pointer cause eye damage. Cheers

I have no idea about the legality of it, but dealextreme dot com has world wide free shipping. and it would not be that much money to see if it is captured when they send it to you.

the green are safer than the red because you can see more of the light, so you will close your eyes faster if the light hits your eyes (because it hurts so much).

you should be careful with a laser like that, I have a 20mw green, and it is very pretty,

If they are illegal it's for a pretty good reason.  Those things are dangerous.

It sure can. Both green and red 5 mW lasers can cause retina damage if it is aimed at the eye.
