  1. First, you need a larger tank. Figure 10 gallons of tank per inch of shell (cumulative). Second, get a filter rated for twice the size of your tank. Third, add some snails. Either the turtles will eat them or they will help to clean the tank.

  2. How big is the tank?

what size are both the turtles?

do you have a good filtration for your tank?

IF  its by a window it will get warmer and cause the algea and or if the heater is to high?

  3. Get a tank filter. The same kind you'd get for fish. Just one that will fit your tank. That should fix your problem. You can get one at any pet store.

  4. i don't think your tank is big enough for the turtles.  please see care sheet below.

  5. I suggest you get a new tank because i think it's your tank

  6. If they p**p and it's green it will dissolve in water and make the water green.

  7. I am wondering if your problem is algae growth. Do you keep the light on all the time or is it near a window? This happens in fish tanks as well, which is green algae blooms called "floating algae or green water." It can also be ffrom the food if the pellets you are feeding it is green. I have been using a red color pellets and it has turned my water a red color.
