Green vegetables: food & medicine together?

Certain cultures use green vegetables as their main food which include spices and herbs.It seems they hae medicinal value and the power to stop new diseases.

Have you any idea? is it true?

  1. Yes green vegetables and aromatic fresh spices like ginger, garlic etc have medicinal values...

    Food with green vegetables is almost an 'herbal food'...  


  2. For once, raw green vegetables do contain chlorella which is derived from their chlorophyl and that's a powerful antioxidant.  Secondly, some herbs are actually painkillers, i.e. the peppermint plant kills headaches and the peppermint oil in it helps upset stomach....

  3. Yes its true....most vegetables and spices have medicinal values.

    Ginger tea works, for a migraine headache in the front of the head.

    Clerodendrum is used to treat blood pressure..Spilanthes is used to treat indigestion...Garlic is good for health..and many more....
