Greenies Cat Treats??

Question

are they healthy for cats...??? i looked up good cat treats and those weren't on the list.. IF there not what are some good treats?

Greenies cat treats are used mostly as a teeth cleaner (feline equivalent of a tooth brush?) but at best, it only helps freshen breath. I do not believe that chewing any dry food helps with dental health at all, since in reality, a cat rarely chew to benefit. Cats mostly break it off once or swallow the treat whole, thus the teeth cleaning benefit is redundant. Therefore, regular brushing is the only way to good dental health.

Anything made for cats will be good my vet sells them and my cat eats them just remember anything is good in variation so your cat can have them if he/she only has them once and a while

I keep turkey cold-cuts on hand for my lunches but my cat absolutely loves it! I will just give her tiny pieces (about the size of a quarter) as a treat. That seems to work well for us.

They are better quality than many treats - they are free of by-products and something really disgusting called animal digest.  Those are two big ingredients of most treats, and they should be avoided.   Two of my cats love them, the others are so-so.

I use the pill pockets for my cat.  I got them from my vet, so I would think they must be okay for my cat.

I really don't bother with other treats.  They're so picky, they're just as happy with their regular food as with treats.

The only thing that gets my cats going is catnip.
