  1. i know one thing is getting rid of GMO's that might contain substances that could prove harmful to our diet and nutrition.

  2. "Getting rid of" something that doesn't belong to you and that noone is forced to eat because "it might" prove harmful even if after hundreds of tests at the companies' and the taxpayers' expense there's no evidence that it is harmful, that's not "improving our health."

Anything that eliminates choice is bad.

  3. Greenpeace is to the environment what PETA is to animal protection.  Both started out with the best of intentions, to preserve and protect environment/animals.  However, they have both evolved into twisted versions that typically rely on fear and false "truths" to get their message across.  Greenpeace today is nothing more than a huge political lobby that literally wants to destroy everything to do with technology and progress that mankind has built up to return humans to nothing more than just another notch on the food chain.  I usually don't like using a statement like that in any context other than for effect, but in this case, it's too true to life.  Even Patrick Moore, one of the founders of the organization, has come out against what it stands for today saying they are now environmentalist radicals who oppose things simply because they view it as "evil", not because it makes more sense, or because they have a legitimate point.  Look at nuclear energy.  When he founded it, he admits nuclear was still relatively new and and with a couple nuclear-related disasters at the time, the public was not keen on it, and, not surprisingly, neither was Greenpeace.  But he says today those fears are unfounded because when those disasters happened (3 Mile Island and Chernobyl), it was a different time for the technology versus today.  3 Mile Island was actually contained and no one was killed or hurt as a result of the disaster because the facility was built to retain withstand a disaster of the sort, which it did.  Chernobyl, while a terrible disaster, was poorly constructed and didn't meet any standards for a possible disaster which is why it was so catastrophic.  He says today times have changed and nuclear is an extremely clean, efficient source of energy which can meet the needs of mass populations with far less pollution.  And he's absoutely right.  However, Greenpeace still adheres to the fear behind nuclear energy and plays on people's emotions to get across all of its "evils".  The long and the short of it, Greenpeace doesn't do much of anything positive to improve your health.  If anything, they're doing more to destroy it by limiting innovation and a higher standard of living.
