Greensted Dream likely to deliver a winning result in Owners´ Bonus Series - Heat 2
Greensted Dream has got a great chance of winning the Owners´ Bonus Series - Heat 2 at Romford in England on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. He will be starting the race from trap number one and will get an opportunity of attacking his opponents right from the
start of the proceedings in the Grade A2 encounter.
However, things will not be easy for the seasoned greyhound, as he will have to face a fierce competition from Strawberry Hall, who will be entering the event form one place downwards.
Both the runners are well trained and have been doing a reasonable job for their respective teams over the past few months. Therefore, the punters should risk more bets in their favour compared to the rest.
Speed will be an important factor in the 400 metres race and it will be difficult for the one who does not start well. Therefore, the bookies believe that Strawberry Hall has got a better chance of winning the race and he has been given the best odds for
victory. He will start the contest with a starting price of 3 to 1 and will be looking to pressurise his rivals.
The P. Young’s trainee made his debut this year and has appeared in quite a few races since then. His performances in them have been really good, but he needs to win with more consistency.
Droopys Scolari’s son appeared in three back-to-back Grade A2 events recently and did a very good job in them. He finished as a runner up in two whereas had to settle for fourth place in the other. He will have to make an improvement in order to make his
team proud at the end of the race at Romford.
Coming back to Greensted Dream, he will definitely not allow his opponents to walk away with a comfortable win. He has gained a lot of experience and has been running strongly since 2009, which shows the amount of experience he has gained over the years.
However, the M. Lucas’ trained hound failed to make a big impression in his most recent outing, as he finished in fifth place back then. He will need to forget that and try to focus on the current situation.
