Greg Maddux to the Dodgers?

I thought the trade deadline has already passed, so how can this deal be done? Someone enlighten me please.

I cant help but to laugh at this. Utter Chaos totally predicted this. This is the first of many "How could Greg Maddux be traded if the trade dealine has passed?"

People, get it straight. He was traded by waivers. When a player is traded by waivers it means that the team does not want this player anymore and that he is up for grabs.
