  1. ruin a good team

  2. He will make them better, but they will not win the american league.

  3. They'll at least win the AL Central with him on their roster.

  4. Anything can still happen. It's not even August. The Rays could get Bay and dominate the rest of the season. Anyone on the Angels could get hurt, and ruin their chances of winning the ALCS if it's against the Rays, Red Sox, Yankees, or White Sox. Griffey could easily be another strong bat that would help the White Sox, but he could also end up hurting their team.  The Red Sox could pick up a great guy for their bullpen and end up making the playoffs. If that happens, anything can happen. There is no telling who will win the ALDS or ALCS until the time comes. Angels fans are starting to get cocky, and that can only lead to their downfall. The White Sox could end up playing in the big one against the Cubs very easily.

  5. GRIFFEY WOULD LOVE CHICAGO AND SOUTHSIDE WILL LOVE HIM@ THYE WILL WIN IT WITH HIM!

  6. I don't think he will have a big effect on the White Sox. The White Sox want to put him in CF but, he just too old. He will help the White Sox because Konerko is not hitting very well, so you have a guy behind him that can hit. They have to find a way to get him in the game. Dye, and Quentin are very good at the corners of the outfield. There are three things that assure you he's human: he doesn't collect huge amounts of doubles, he strikes out a lot and hamstring problems continue to hamper his career. He lost a lot of speed due to hamstring injuries.

  7. Griffey won't hurt them. Not a chance that replacing Konerko is a bad thing. Heres the problem. Griffey doesn't help them much. Especially against the Angels. Now the Angels add Tex to an already amazing team. I don't think the White Sox are a contender. I think the Angels are just too darn good.

  8. he won't hurt them but Anaheim are just way too strong.  They were the best team in baseball before getting Texeira.  So the white sox added a pretty decent player but the Angels, who were already better, added a better player.  I'm not a fan of the Angels but they are stacked...best manager in the AL, best pitching in the AL, now another bat to support the pitching.

  9. He will help them the sox gave up nothing good if it hurts them it wont be much.

  10. I think it helps them, but who sits so he can play? I don't think it helps them all that much.

  11. They already were a contender, though I think the Angels will win the American League pennant.

  12. Depends on how they use him.  If they put him in the field, you're not going to get consistent good days out of him.  Plus, the older he gets, the more likely injuries will occur.

If they stick him in the DH spot, which makes the most sense, then I think that they will get good production out of him for a few years.  The DH may be what it takes to bring Griffey back to the top, that way he can go out in style.
