  1. Griffin is going to wear Jackson down and submit him just like he sumbitted Shogun! I thing the winner of the Liddell/Evans fight should face the winner of Griffin/Jackson.

  2. I'm picking Forrest for a come from behind submission victory. I think that if Rashad Evans beats Liddell, He will fight Griffin for the belt. If Liddell wins, I think a Rampage Liddell rematch could happen, with Wanderlei getting a shot at Griffin.

  3. The longer the fight goes on, the better for Forrest.  He's a cardio freak. If Jackson wants to win and retain his title, he needs to come with heavy hands early. Griffin is known to stand and trade, but I don't think he has been hit with the caliber of punches that Jackson tosses.  Jackson will need to get a knock out or GnP stoppage by the end of the 2nd early 3rd round to win. Anything after that and Griffin will out work him. I don't think Forrest will lose any of the last three round if it goes that far, so decision is out of the question for Rampage.

My prediction: Rounds 1 and 2 will go to Jackson for superior striking. Rounds 3,4, and 5 to Griffin for out working Jackson and having better conditioning. Decision for the new Champion Forrest Griffin.

That being said, we will either see Forrest go to sleep, or a long battle with Jackson gassing half way through the 3rd.

I think the next contender will be the winner of Evens/Liddel or possibly Wanderlei Silva depending what happens. I think that Wanderlei will have to fight Shogun, but I don't know for sure.

  4. Griffen wins by KO at 3:47 of second round. Gos on to defend the title against the winner of the Liddel VS. Evans fight.

  5. Rampage will be too much for Forrest on the feet and will TKO him late in the second rd.  Forrest is fun to watch but I think this will be a little too much for him right now.  Rampage showed in the Henderson fight that he has the cardio to go all 5 rounds so I don't think Forrest will be tiring him out to get the Win.

Next fight should be Machida, he's 5-0 in UFC and he beat Tito where Rashad only fought to a draw.  If Rashad beats Lidell then that changes things, he should probably get the shot and have Wanderlei and Machida fight for the winner of Rashad/Rampage or Rashad/Griffin.

  6. i think forrest is going to be losing 2 rounds but he has conditioning and to much heart and hes gonna win by tapout or ko

  7. it could go either way
