Grill Cheese with Jelly?

One of my favorite recipes:

Grilled Cheese and Jelly Sandwich

Note: Try any bread, cheese, or jelly in any combination. This may sound weird, but it tastes great! I like grape with cheddar.

Select any bread, any cheese, and any jelly. Spread 2 pieces of bread with butter. Place 1 piece, butter side down, in a skillet over medium heat and top with several slices of the cheese. Spread the unbuttered side of the other piece of bread with some jelly and put it jelly side down on top of the cheese. When the first side is browned, after about 3 minutes, flip the sandwich and cook until the other side has browned, about another 3 minutes. Serve while warm.

A friend of mine in college ate them with strawberry jelly all the time.  I thought it was nuts, but I finally tried it and it's pretty good.

I like grilled cheese with peanut butter too, but it has to be made with cheddar.

I prefer mine dunked in tomato soup or ketchup. Never tried the jelly. Wich flavor do you like best?

When I was little my grandfather made me cheese singles and grape jelly on white bread...yum I bet melted would be just as good
