Grinding when turning left

Question

when ever i turn my wheel to the left i hear a grinding noise and a little bit of a squeek its no a constant squeek but i can only hear it when turning left. in the morning after the cars been sitting overnight the grinding is worse but as i turn the wheel left more it gets quieter to a certain point where u can hear it still but itsnt as bad as when i 1st started it.. what could it be? and how much would u estimate it would cost to repair?

CV joint, or strut. most likely CV. it will continue to get worse as time goes by. the cost is different for different models &makes. have it checked at a front end place, alighnment,etc. this is a classic example of a CV going bad! the bearings are bad in it or possibly you damaged the boot and are drying up your grease.

sounds like a tie rod....go get a free estimate...but it should cost about 60 bucks give or take.
