Grip on putter?

Does anyone on this thread use a cross-handed putting grip and what exactly is the reason to do so?

Personally, I don't. I have a golfing friend that does. It's really weird to watch but it works for him. So use whatever works and experiment with different grips.

i do'nt use it. i find it very uncomfortable. The cross handed grip is used to keep the wrists out of the stroke. It keeps your hands from breaking down and sweeping at the ball - and lets you use your big muscles of the shoulders and back to swing the putter back and through.
