  1. Well it ranged from grip 2-5 in lamens terms. Grip 2 is for a smaller hand and 5 for a very large hand. I am a normal guy and use a 3 but I could use a 4. Most women use a 2 or some use a 3.

  2. There is no standard grip size it all depends on what your preference. A rough and ready way of telling which grip size you should go for is to hold a racket in your normal forehand grip...you should be able to squeeze a finger in which touches both the end of your fingers and your palm.

    For example:

    GRIP 1 = 4 1/8 inches

    GRIP 2 = 4 1/4 inches

    GRIP 3 = 4 3/8 inches

    GRIP 4 = 4 1/2 inches

    GRIP 5 = 4 5/8 inches

For most juniors...go for grip 1 or 2.

For most women...go for grip 2 or 3.

For most men...go for grip 3 or 4.

Grip 5 for a really big hand.

Heavy rackets (300 to 340g) are generally control rackets.

    Hope this helps:)

So it really all depends on how big your hands are and how strong you are :)
