Question:

Grip to use on two-handed backhands?

For two-handed backhands, should the right hand be at the 2 position and the left hand at a 6 position? Or should the right hand be at the 4 position? I normally use a semi-western forehand, so my right hand is already at the 4 position.

  1. Assuming you are a right handed player, your right hand should be at a CONTINENTAL grip and your left hand would be at EASTERN (or just hold the racquet in your right hand.......place your left hand on the face/strings of the racquet and slide your hand down to the grip.  (That is actually and EASTERN forehand for a left handed player).

SO.....the grips are right hand = continental and left hand  = eastern (forehand for a left handed player)

  2. That makes no sense.

  3. Depends on the size, h**l just turn your hand around and pretend it's me
