Grocery Bill Realistic? Need more answers

My husband and I need to only spend around 75 dollars every two weeks on groceries. too help save for a move. This is only including food and nothing else. Do you think this is possible.

  1. yeah that's possible, It depends on things you two like to eat but home baking is a lot cheaper than buying 'junk food' and it also a lot healthier. Buy things on special and don't eat out at expensive places

Yes.  You can do it, by the vegetables and fruits that are on sale every week, that way you will be able to rotate what you eat.  for example in Southern CA, at least once a month the markets have the chicken for $.67 cents vs $1.39 a lb.  I usually buy 3 whole chickens and cut them in 2 each, I barbeque one time, I make a soup with vegetagles, I stew another half. ad so on.

    I lost my job and I eat well with less than $30.00 a week, including fish, chicken, and meat. Another way to save is to cook for two days and freeze it and eat the 2nd portion in about 4 days.   If possible use coupons that is another way to save.
