Gross hamster question about a tumor?

Question

i am taking care of this hamster and about 3 days ago he got a testicular tumor.

he is now eating it and dieng of the pain

is it normal for them to eat the pain away or is this hamster kinda crazy?

and yes i told the owner of the hamster

I have never heard of hamster eating his own tumor so far. But I know that a tumor is very very painful for a hamster and I am guessing that he is in so much pain in that area that he is trying to take off the tumour himself.

This is really sad since this fellow is in a lot of pain. I would suggest you take him to a vet immediately who can administer pain killers and try and remove the tumour. Do not delay or wait for the owner to return. Every minute is precious when it comes to saving the hamster's life and relieving him of his horrible pain.

That is horrible..He needs to see a vet so he can be taken care of immediately.The owner needs to give you the ok to have him treated. No that is not normal what he is doing.

take him to the vet ASAP. if you don't he is gonna get an infection and die of a horrible death and you know that that is animal neglect and is ilegal
