  1. Kbaum is incorrect in saying bed bugs are dust mites.  Everybody has dust mites in their houses but not everybody has bed bugs.  You cannot see dust mites with the naked eye and unless you are allergic to them they are harmless.  They are easily disposed of by thoroughly airing your bed and washing your bedding on a hot wash.  Bed bugs are something else, they are visible to the human eye and they bite.  If you have not been bitten then it is unlikely that you have them.  To see what they look like use this link:

  2. wtf. bed bugs are dust mites. you cant even see them. maybe it was a roach or something. unless youre the type to get a microscope and look. if you do then your crazy. did you know that you have a thousand bugs in your eyebrows and eyelashes right now. i bet youre freaking out now ahahah

  3. first before you freak out and through away all of you furniture make sure it is bed bugs your dealing with take some double sided tape and line it around your furniture (especially your bed) over night.  The next morning inspect it. If you notice any brown bugs go on line to see what they look like.  (bed Bugs only turn red after they bite you) to make sure.  If you haven't been bitten yet it is usually a sign that there aren't any.

If you do find that they are bed bugs you may have to purchase new furniture wash sheets and clothing with hot water and line all furniture with double sided tape the only way to get rid of them for sure is to cut off there food supply.

*Note Bed bugs are known to stay in a home by living in the walls.

  4. wash all your pillows and pillow cases and sheats about 2 times

use bleach and soap or w/e washing stuff there are not just water.

    thats it

there like microscopic by the way so i dont think you saw it

  5. Cimex lectularius, the scientific name for bed bugs, are found in most parts of the world, but are generally native to the northern areas. Their southern cousin, C. hemipterus, is usually found in warm, tropical areas, but have been found in places as far from the equator as Florida. Not to be mistaken for the dust mite, bed bugs are big enough to be seen, with a flat body and a reddish brown color. They on their hosts’ blood at night and move quickly, hiding in cracks or crevices in and around the area where the host sleeps.

Best option: Get rid of your mattress and bedspring Then thoroughly clean the entire dwelling. Using a profession service is recommended.

If you can’t afford another mattress, vacuuming the mattress and applying a sealable cover should be sufficient. Meanwhile, all clothes, linens, and bedding should be washed in hot water, and the immediate area vacuumed thoroughly.

Insecticides are not an option to get rid of bed bugs, because insecticides should never be applied to an area where you sleep. Sticky traps, like those used for mice, are a good way to capture rogue bed bugs that have managed to escape your domestic exorcism. Some insecticides like Boric Acid might be used in areas around the bed, but never on the mattress itself.

All the unnecessary clutter in the house should be removed so that the amount of hiding places available to bed bugs is reduced. Items removed in this process should be inspected, cleaned, and if required applied with insecticide. Bed cloths and other garments that show signs of infestation or could have been infested, and if they are reusable, should be laundered using hot water. If they cannot be laundered for some reason, they should be placed in a cloth dryer at a high temperature. They can also be placed in the sun for several days. Furniture too can be placed in the sun for several days after thoroughly cleaning them first. Similar results may be obtained by placing the same items outside for about two weeks during winter. Carpets and such like items can be steam washed to rid them of bed bugs.

  6. Actually, they're not microscopic.  They're tiny, but you can see them.  And you can get them even if your place is clean.  Even 5-star hotels sometimes get bed bugs.  If you live in an apartment building, they could have come from someone else's apartment.  You could have also brought them in with your luggage if you took a trip somewhere.  They could have come from a lot of places.  You won't have to get a whole new mattress.  They can be gotten rid of, but it's not easy and you'll need help.  The website I listed as a source has a lot of good advice.  If you are in an apartment building, your landlord should pay for a professional pest control service to come in and remove them since they most likely came from another apartment.  Check out the website, and good luck!

  7. If your married look next to you that is a bed bug lol

  8. Go to bedbugger.com and read the FAQs. That is by far the best answer to your question, and all those that will follow. Lots of advice here is wrong. They are not microscopic, they are not dust mites, etc. (Why do people give such wrong information???)

  9. u should get an estimate from an exterminator.

  10. After watching King of Queens and their experience with bed bugs I wouldn't recommend bug bombs as a cheap solution. Also if the problem Isn't resolved quickly other parts of the house can be affected. I would recommend an exterminator and see if they offer free estimates. Call around to get the best deal.
