The Borussia Dortmund winger is aiming for a successful UEFA Champions League next season.
Borussia Dortmund have had a very successful last two seasons as they have collected two Bundesliga and one DFB-Pokal titles in the process. The team has dominated the likes of Bayern Munich and Schalke at the domestic stage however,
their performance in Europe’s premier club competition has been disappointing.

Grosskreutz claimed that his side is determined to perform better this season and is targeting an improved display this time around. The player admitted that the performance in the previous campaign was way below par and was nothing
close to what the fans expected of the team.
The German international is confident that Dortmund will get the better of top European teams in the next season as he feels that the team is well equipped to play at the highest stage. He insisted that Jurgen Klopp has some of
the best players in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 at his disposal and is certain that the team can go far if they play to their potential.
“We certainly want to get more points [this year]. And, of course, it is essential to get to the second round! We want to upset the top clubs. We are ready now,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the midfielder expressed his delight on the amazing showing from his side last season. He admitted that winning a domestic double is a great achievement and is looking forward to repeating the feat in the next
season also.
“When I see the pictures, I still get goosebumps. This is unique - cup winners and champions with 81 points. The season was historic,” he concluded.
Kevin Grosskreutz has thus far made 97 league appearances for Borussia Dortmund and has found the net on 20 occasions. The player also has three international caps to his name but was not a member of the national squad taking part
in Euro 2012.
