  1. Groundnuts are not dispersed, they germinate at the same place like the ( annual ) motherplant:

    After self-pollination, the flowers fade, the pegs ( stalks at the base of ovaries ) elongate and turn downward to bury the fruits some inches deep into soil.

    Here they mature and germinate in next season, if nobody removes the complete plant to harvest the peanuts.
