Group Discussion help..????

can anyone please give me any sort of tips to do well in group discussion sessions organized by companies for placement purposes...any general idea about what a group discussion is and the do's and dont's of a Group discussion...any website related to group discussion topics and points to help me learn about what to say in a Group discussion would be of great help..any book or some other tool to learn about group discussion...i am a third year engineering student and i have no great knowledge about GD's...please help guys..??..

you should be the initator of GD

You should not have fear, and u can face it

topic of gd will be current affirs so be updated

if some body is not speaking in gd ask them for their suggestion

u should not speak fulltime then u are overqalified

some times u may not get chance to speak if u are mum

i somebody stop their speach start urs at the end of their last word

quickly be active for 10 min

observe all thoughts given by other players also

because it will be very useful for summarizing

main thing is eye contact the person who is speaking

while telling ur thoughts make eye contact with all the players
