Group Interview TIPS????!?

Question

So.. i have a job interview coming up in retail (clothes). It will be a group interview and i've never been to 1 before. I was wondering, what happens at interviews like that? What sort of questions might they ask me? I want to be prepared! Also what should i wear?

Some tips and advice would be appreciated, thanks guys!

I've been through a few of these.... they are a nightmare because a lot of what goes on depends on th other people.

They will get you to play some sort of game or challenge as a team and will look for how you work together. The loudest person who thinks they are the leader will not get the job. The shy quiet person will not get the job. A great technique for this situation is to portray yourself as a facilitator .. for example -

you are discussing some aspect of the task and the loud one is talking over the top of the quiet one. You say " I think john has somethng to add"..

works every time.

as for clothes, I'd always go conservatively with suit, shirt and tie.. but as this is clothing retail it might be a bit different. You can never NEVER be too smartly dressed for an interview.
