Group is currupted?

For the past 48 hours I've been getting this message when trying to view SOME posting on my group, "The archive for ballyalley is temporarily unavailable." Also, some messages that you CAN view bring you to the wrong message. Some of the messages have garbage in them. Finally, the search function never returns anything (which makes sense if the archive is unavailable).

I'm worried that my group has become currupted in some way. I've run this group (ballyalley) for about six years and nothing like this has happened before.

Suggestions? Should I just "wait it out?"

P.S. It's for reasons like THIS that I wish that I could backup my own messages; there are about 5,000 of them, and I would HATE to see them lost-- they are a great resource to all members.

my groups are not experiencing this, but many are. try and report it to yahoo using htis form.

also you can back up groups (and owners should) using programs like pgoffline   http://pgoffline.com/
