Groups with no Owners?

Question

I am a moderator with all the privileges of an owner but we have no owner. How to I obtain full control of the group? The previous owner got thier id stripped from them somehow.

In this particular case I do feel that yahoo messed up.

if you have all 9 priviledges, then you're pretty much not in a boat like the other's.

many groups have no owners or moderators- nothing you can do about it and yahoo wont appoint anyone as owner to a already created group. Yahoo didn't mess up- the owner did when they left, they should have appointed an owner first

you can create another group and invite all those members to it

You would have to try and get a hold of the person that is a

co-owner of the group (if more than one person owns the group) to make a change.  Otherwise the only thing that can be done is to start a whole new group.

basically... you can't. if the original owner is no more, there's no way of getting control. sorry...
