  1. It is too hot in SC.  I don't even know if you can grow them in the winter or spring down there.  Radishes are a cold weather crop.


  2. I believe brit is correct. Radishes like cool weather. Yours probably don't like the heat and are bolting instead of making radishes because of it. I'm in CT, and when I planted some too late last year they did the same thing. Maybe try again in late fall if the temps are right down there.
