What do I need to know to grow Canterbury Bells by seed?

    These are really pretty and I'm sure you will get a lot of enjoyment out of them. If you are unsure about direct sowing, you can always start them indoors and them transplant when they are large enough to do so. Good luck.

  3. It is unusual to find canterbury bells plants for sale, and therefore seeds are the only alternative. So, grow your seeds in the winter/Spring under glass, and plant out as soon as there is no danger of frost. You ned to know that they like the Sun or light shade. They like to grow in fairly rich soil, and particularly like some Sphagnum Peat Moss dug in .
